Goodness!  Has it really been that long since I made an appearance last time? ... I guess it has.  I feel rather silly now, but work has kept me exceptionally busy.  Added to that the stress of my parents divorcing, several friends hitting me up for a couch to stay on, and the usual shenanigans of life and I had a few things slip through the cracks- like my spare time!  Where did all of that spare time go?! Well, now that there is some semblance of order back in my life I will once again be attempting to post my poor excuses for art on this site and networking once again with other people far better than I am.  Perhaps if I get exceptional

I admit, I am very terrified of posting all or even just some of my art on Deviant Art.  While my *NATURE* photography is all well and good to post because it says and reveals nothing about me or who I am as a person other than the things I like and see any of my *OTHER* photography is much more intimate, revealing much more about me or others than I would want in many figurative and literal ways! I wish to take a long moment and express a personal opinion about the nature and state of photography and the learning of the art.  In specific, I wish to vent some feelings about the COST of learning photography.  The object of my dispassion is that of how damn *expensive* learning and trying to educate one's self can be.  As I have personally progressed from a simple point and shoot style handheld camera ($60) to a more powerful model with more options in shooting it incurred an immediate $180 charge.  Though I felt the cost justified at the time it certainly made my wallet weep, and a few more moths came free and flew away the next time I
